美国明尼苏达大学电气工程本科教育研究

     

摘要

介绍了美国明尼苏达大学电气工程本科教育的特点和人才培养模式.通过对明尼苏达大学电气与计算机工程系教学培养方案、课程大纲的研究,分析了美国高校电气工程本科培养方案的体系结构,说明了明尼苏达大学电气工程本科教育的课程数量、结构和内容,同时解释了美国工程教育授课的方式与方法,并与国内高校进行了初步比较.通过比较分析了美国高校电气工程本科教育的优势与特点,为我国高校电气工程本科教学工作的改革与发展提供经验与思路.%This paper introduces the characteristics and patterns of Electrical Engineering (EE) Education Program for undergraduates in University of Minnesota (UMN) of USA. The structure and system of EE education program for undergraduates in the higher education in the USA are analyzed through the research on the program and syllabuses of courses delivered by Electrical and Computer Engineering Department (ECE) at UMN. The number, structure and contents of courses are given to analyze the characteristics on the educational system of EE. The types of delivering courses and the ways for undergraduates to choose courses are explained to show the differences in teaching methods. Through the comparison on the EE educational program between the USA and China, this paper demonstrates the advantages of the program for undergraduates in USA counterparts. These advantages can be learnt and absorbed to improve the EE education program for undergraduates in China.
