The question how to communicate with foreigners well has become more and more popular amongthe researchers. We need to change ideas, and carry forward the culture. But we find that the culture differenc-es make the communication difficult. This essay mainly talks about the differences between Chinese culture andAmerican culture which may cause the conflict and misunderstanding during communication. The different back-grounds of people in communication are the main points that we need to discuss. The purpose of doing suchkind of research is that it will help Chinese people communicate with others in English better and make thecommunication more efficiency, so that people would understand each other better. We can also promote Chi-nese traditional culture through this.
