TMPTA交联改性水性丙烯酸树脂的制备及性能

         

摘要

以丙烯酸丁酯和甲基丙烯酸甲酯为主要单体,甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯和丙烯酸为功能性单体,三羟甲基丙烷三丙烯酸酯(TMPTA)为交联剂,采用乳液聚合法合成了水性丙烯酸树脂.通过测量乳液粒径和黏度,热重分析,机械性能和吸水率测试,考察了TMPTA用量对乳液及其胶膜性能的影响,并用红外光谱表征了胶膜的结构.结果表明,TMPTA的加入可提高胶膜的拉伸强度、硬度、热稳定性和耐水性.当TMPTA用量为6%时,乳液的平均粒径为78.49 nm,黏度为29.77 mPa.s.其胶膜的综合性能最好:交联度96.63%,邵氏硬度44 HA,T剥离强度0.46 kN/m,拉伸强度2.30 MPa,断裂伸长率154.2%,吸水率3.60%,失重率为50%时的分解温度为411℃.%A waterborne acrylic resin was synthesized with butyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate as main monomers,glycidyl methacrylate and acrylic acid as functional monomers and trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA) as crosslinker through emulsion polymerization.The effect of TMPTA content on properties of the emulsion and its cured film was studied by particle size and viscosity measurement,thermogravimetric analysis,mechanical property testing and water absorption test.The structures of latex films were characterized by infrared spectroscopy.The results showed that the addition of TMPTA improves the tensile strength,hardness,thermal stability and water resistance of the film.The emulsion containing 6% of TMPTA has an average particle size of 78.19 nm and a viscosity of 29.77 mPa·s.Its cured film has the best comprehensive performance:crosslinking degree 96.63%,Shore scleroscope hardness 44 HA,T peel strength 0.46 kN/m,tensile strength 2.30 MPa,elongation at break 154.2%,water absorption rate 3.60%,and thermal decomposition temperature 411 ℃ at a weight loss of 50%.
