Nathaniel Hawthorne's masterpiece The Scarlet Letter tells a love story of Hester Prynne,and explores the relationship between women and nature,female and male,which can be analyzed from the view of ecological feminism naturalistic ideology.Hester Prynne has had ups and downs when pursues equality,freedom and happiness,and her experience shows it has a long way to go before building equal and harmonious relationship between all creatures.
