基于OpenGL的离散粒子系统显示方法及其改进

     

摘要

The sphere model is usually used to represent the particle in the discrete particle system so that the display list approach of OpenGL is adopted for high display performance. The sphere model of OpenGL is generated by dividing the sphere longitudinally and attitudinally, it is non-uniform (dense in the polar area and sparse in the equatorial area). A series of uniform triangular sphere model are generated by the exiting finite element pre-processing software and these sphere models are composed by less elements, the excellent display performance is obtained by these models and multi-display-list approach. The test cases show that the method is practicable and the display performance is enhanced significantly under the circumstance that the display list is unable to be used.%离散粒子系统中的粒子显示一般是用单一的球模型,这样有利于采用OpenGL显示列表技术而获得良好的显示性能.OpenGL自带的球显示模型是对球进行经纬度划分,这样的划分是不均匀的,它在两极密而赤道疏,而且单元数偏多.本文采用现有有限元前处理软件生成一系列均匀的三角形网格球模型,用较少的单元构造球模型,结合多个显示列表,获得良好的显示效果.实例表明该方法可行,且在不能采用显示列表的情况下性能有较大提升.
