Learning motivation is an internal reason for promoting the student learning activities, and is an impor-tant non-intellectual factor for influencing academic achievement of students. This paper research 2 500 students from 11 higher vocational institute according to“learning motivation of student self diagnostic scale”, and analyze it.Finally the research concludes that:the higher vocational students have a strong motivation to learn, but lack of learning initiative; have interests in learning, but have bias and narrow in choice; have learning objectives, but have confusions.% 学习动力是推动学生进行学习活动的内在原因,是影响学生学业成绩的重要的非智力因素。采用“学生学习动力自我诊断量表”对11所高职院校的2500名学生进行问卷调查及统计分析,得出结果:高职学生有较强的学习动机,但学习主动性差;有强烈的学习兴趣,但在兴趣选择上存在偏差与狭隘;有明确的学习目标,但在实现目标时存在困惑。
