Stone cultural landscape now is a heritage type that is less involved in the world heritage list, which has unique value and cultural significance in the cultural landscape heritages. Changyudongtian, which demonstrates a unique and harmony stone culture landscape characterized by its special geological structure, distinctive quarrying technology, long history of quarrying, harmonious rural folk culture and interaction between man and nature with coexistence and prosperity, is based on a quarry site of 1500 years, lots of slate house residential villages and local folk culture as the main body. This article will introduce the landscape elements and features as well as make a comparison with similar world heritage, then with the domestic famous quarries. It will try the eligible world heritage criteria and explore its authenticity and integrity.
