“近侧发展区间”理论是发展心理学家利维·维谷斯基提出的学习理论.该理论强调教师应当充分理解学生个体的“近侧发展区间”,促进学生学习潜能的发展.本文介绍了“近侧发展区间”理论的基本概念、优点及其实施途径,探讨了“近侧发展区间”理论在大连大学附属中山医院临床医学专业研究生医学英语教学中的作用和意义,以期进一步改进研究生医学英语教学和提高研究生的英语运用能力.%One of the major theories carried out by Vygotsky is the zone of proximal development (ZPD).In order to promote the potential medical English learning development of postgraduate students,teachers should make full sense of individual's ZPD.On the basis of introducing the concept and advantages of ZPD,this article discusses the significance and application of the theory in postgraduate medical English teaching in the affiliated Zhongshan Hospital of Dalian University,so as to provide references in teaching and learning medical English.
