第二课堂实践教学对提升医学生医学笔译能力的效果评价

摘要

Objective To investigate the effectiveness of practice-oriented instruction in non-class-room learning on medical students' ability of medical translation. Methods Two classes of Grade 2015 in School of Pharmacy were randomly divided into the experimental group (EG) and the control group (CG). EG (60 students) received traditional college English teaching added by practice-oriented instruction in non-classroom learning for medical translation, while CG (58 students) received only traditional college English teaching. One year later, analyses and assessments were done by course tests and questionnaires. Specifi-cally, the statistical analysis was done by SPSS 19.0, course tests analysis by t test and satisfaction investi-gation by Chi-square test. Results EG showed more desirable effects than CG not only in the course test [(29.28 ±7.02) vs. (22.08 ±9.49)] (t=3.049,P=0.000), but also in its positive attitude towards mode of teaching, class participation and problem-solving skills. Conclusion Well-planned practice-oriented in-struction in non-classroom learning can improve medical students' ability of medical translation.%目的 探讨第二课堂实践教学在提高医学生医学笔译能力中的应用效果.方法 在2015级药学专业的两个平行班里,抽取一班58名学生作为对照组,采用传统的大学英语教学;另一班60名学生则为实验组,采用传统英语教学并开展为期一年的医学笔译第二课堂实践教学.实验结束后通过笔试测验和调查问卷等综合指标对教学效果进行评估分析.使用SPSS 19.0进行统计学分析,笔试成绩采用独立样本t检验,满意度调查采用卡方检验.结果 实验组成绩的平均成绩[(29.28±7.02)分]优于对照组[(22.08±9.49)分],差异有统计学意义(t=3.049,P=0.000);对于教学方式、课程参与度和解决问题能力等方面,统计分析显示实验组明显优于对照组.结论 有计划、有目的进行第二课堂实践教学能促进医学生医学笔译能力的提高.
