Objective To investigate the correlation of VEGF and IGF 1 level in the pathogenesis of diabetic reti nopathy. Methods To select 60 patients diagnosed as type 2 diabetes, which were divided into NRD group 20 cases, BDR group 20 patients,PDR group 20 patients and healthy control group 20 cases. All patients were examined fasting plasma glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin,triglycerides,total choles terol,low density lipoprotein cholesterol and VEGF, IGF 1 levels in serum, then compare all of data.
