AIM: To evaluate the clinical effect of Cortisomol sealer on infected root canal therapy (RCT).rnMETHODS: The selected 160 teeth were randomly divided into 2 groups, the 80 teeth in experimental group were treated with Cortisomol sealer in root canal filling and the other 80 teeth in control group were treated with iodoform zinc oxide - eugenol sealer in root canal filling. The occurrence of pain on day 3 and one week after treatment of recorded and the clinical operation effects were evaluated after one year. RESULTS: The occurrence of pain was on day 3 and one week after treatment was siginificantly lower in experimental group than in the control group (P < 0.05). No significant difference in the success rate of RCT treatment was found between the two groups (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION: RCT treatment with Cortisomol sealer for root canal filling can significantly reduce postoperative pain, hence shows better clinical effect in RCT treatment. Cortisomol sealer is worth to be widely used in RCT.%目的:对Cortisomol糊剂用于感染根管充填的临床疗效进行评价.方法:选择18～60岁慢性牙髓炎、慢性根尖周炎病人151例共160个患牙,常规根管预备后,随机分为实验组和对照组各80个患牙.实验组采用Cortisomol糊剂加牙胶尖充填根管,对照组采用碘仿氧化锌丁香油糊剂加牙胶尖充填,观察根充后3d、1周后反应,并观察术后1年的临床疗效.结果:术后3d、1周,实验组术后反应发生率低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P＜0.05)；术后1年,两组临床疗效无显著性差异(P＞0.05).结论:Cortisomol根充糊剂可明显减少根管后反应,有较好的临床疗效.
