Based on the literatures of Chinese journal full-text database during 1994~2013, the studies on banana were analyzed from six aspects of the annual distribution, research contents, mainly published periodical, core authors, institutes distribution and funding support by bibliometrics. The results indicated that the research of banana development in China can be divided into 3 stages, i. e. slowly development stage, rapid development and stabilization stage. The research topics covered fields of breeding, cultivation techniques, disease research, post-harvest treatment. The research papers were mainly published in periodicals like World Tropical Agriculture Information, Guangdong Agricultural Sciences, Journal of Tropical Crops. The core authors were nearly 84 individuals like Jin Zhiqiang, Xu Biyu and Yi Ganjun. The major research institutions included China Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences. This paper briefly summarized the status and progress of banana research in recent years, and made a brief analysis on the future research direction, aiming to provide the basis for the information exchange and in-depth study of banana.%以《中国期刊全文数据库》1994～2013年的数据作为检索对象，采用文献计量学方法，从年度分布、研究内容、主要期刊、核心作者群、主要产出单位及基金资助6个方面对香蕉研究文献进行统计分析。结果表明：我国香蕉研究经历了初期缓慢、中期迅速以及后期稳定的3个发展时期；研究主题涉及育种、栽培技术、病害研究、采后处理等多个领域；论文主要发布在《世界热带农业信息》、《广东农业科学》、《热带作物学报》等期刊上；形成了以金志强、徐碧玉、易干军为主的84位核心作者群和以中国热带农业科学院为主的比较稳定的研究机构和团队。简要总结近20年来我国香蕉研究的现状和进展，并对未来香蕉的研究方向做出简要分析，旨在为香蕉的信息交流及深入研究提供依据。
