EPDM基三元共聚高吸油树脂的合成

         

摘要

采用悬浮聚合法,以三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)为大分子单体,以不含极性基团的烯烃分子苯乙烯、含不饱和侧基的衣康酸为共聚单体进行三元共聚合,得到一种新型高吸油树脂.采用傅里叶变换红外光谱、热重分析、扫描电子显微镜等手段对树脂的结构、吸油性能及吸油后断面的微观形貌进行了表征.加入适量的衣康酸共聚单体可以大幅提高EPDM基吸油树脂对柴油的吸收能力,对柴油最大吸油倍率可达19.8 g/g;同时还可显著提高吸油树脂的吸油速率;通过扫描电子显微镜观察可推断,吸油树脂在聚合过程中形成了互穿网络结构.%A novel high oil-absorbing resin was synthesized via suspension terpolymerization with ethylene-propylene-diene monomer (EPDM) as macromolecular monomer, styrene without bearing polar groups and itaconic acid (ITA) containing unsaturated side groups as comonomers. The structure and oil absorptivity of the oil-absorbing resin and micro-morphology of the oil-absorbing resin after absorbing diesel were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (FTIR), thermogravimetric (TG) analysis and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The oil absorptivity of the EPDM-based resin could improve obviously by adding appropriate amount of ITA as comonomer, and the diesel absorptivity of the resin reached its maximum of 19.8 g/g. In addition, the oil absorption rate of the resin was also increased obviously. An interpenetrating polymer networks structure formed during the terpolymerization process, as deduced from the observation through SEM.
