Objective To experimentally investigate the clinical effect of lactic acid bacteria tablets combined with compound pepsin powder in the treatment of secondary diarrhea in pediatric pneumonia. Methods A total of 166 children with secondary diarrhea in pediatric pneumonia were divided by their different treatment methods into experimental group (83 cases) and control group (83 cases). They respectively received combined treatment by lactic acid bacteria tablets and compound pepsin powder, and single treatment by lactic acid bacteria tablets. Curative effects of the two groups were compared. Results The experimental group had higher total effective rate as 86.7% than 62.7% of the control group, and their difference had statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion Combination of lactic acid bacteria tablets and compound pepsin powder provides good effect in treating secondary diarrhea in pediatric pneumonia. This method can remarkably improve defection frequency and trait in children, and it is recommended for widely clinical application.%目的：通过实验探究小儿肺炎继发性腹泻采用乳酸菌片联合复方胃蛋白酶散治疗的临床疗效。方法166例肺炎继发性腹泻的患儿，根据对患儿的治疗方案不同将其随机分为试验组(83例)和对照组(83例)，分别给予乳酸菌片联合复方胃蛋白酶散治疗和单独乳酸菌片治疗，比较两组的治疗效果。结果试验组患儿治疗总有效率86.7%明显高于对照组的62.7%，两组比较差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论乳酸菌片联合复方胃蛋白酶散治疗小儿肺炎继发性腹泻疗效良好，可以明显改善患儿的大便次数及性状，建议临床广泛应用该治疗方案。
