At the same time, Confucian Culture and the Culture of Traditional Chinese Medicine interacts with each other. Besides, in Confucian Culture, the thoughts of the benevolence and the doctrine of the mean play significant roles in building the basic theory of TCM. That is to say, the theory of the benevo-lence is good to form the medical ethics of TCM while the theory of the doctrine of the mean is reflected on the thoughts of the preventive treatments and the science of health maintenance.
