In order to adapt the new situation,shift the personnel training model from the discipline type to the applied,skilled and career-oriented personnel training model,the higher education self-taught examination must promote education innovation and deepen the comprehensive reform of the self-taught examination. The comprehensive reform of the self-taught examination,as a way to reform the personnel training model,learning style and assessment methods,pays equal attention to both academic education and capacity-building for the candidates,both their knowledge learning and social practice,and both their learning ability and employability. Through the comprehensive reform,it is highly expected that the candidates’strong learning ability and employability can be reached,in the meantime,the competitiveness and appeal of the self-taught examination can be enhanced.% 高等教育自学考试要适应新形势，实现学科型人才培养向应用型、职业型、技能型人才培养的转变，必须推进教育创新，深化自学考试综合改革。自学考试综合改革要以改革人才培养模式、学习方式、考试方式为途径，做到学历教育与能力培养并重，知识学习与社会实践并重，提高学生的学习能力与就业能力并重。通过综合改革，实现提升自考生的自主学习能力、就业能力，提升自学考试的竞争力、吸引力的目标。
