我国各地的传统聚落尽管其空间结构和形态多种多样，且无一例外地受到所处自然环境条件的影响，但就其成因而言，都是人们社会活动及其组织方式在空间上的投影所致，即聚落的空间结构与集聚人群的社会结构有着紧密的对应关联。社会结构由人们的聚居组织方式及生产、生活行为方式凝结而成。并将社会文化的地区性和民族性蕴含其中，形成了聚落营造的建构文脉。聚落和建筑的空间结构在外显层面上展现出所处地区自然环境的特征，在内隐层面上深刻地展现出人群社会结构和家庭社会结构的特征。%Although China＇ s vernacular settlements which are various in spatial structure and form are inevitably under the influence of the nature conditions, they are originally result from the projection of human＇ s social activities and organization methods, in other words, there＇ re closely corresponding relationship between settlements＇ spatial structure and inhabitants＇ society structure .Social structure are reduced by the inhabitants＇ populated pattern and the methods of manufacture and life, furthermore, it involves regional and national characteristics as well as form the unity of the settlements＇ construction. Settlements and buildings＇ spatial structure apparently show the nature environment＇ s characteristic of the site, inherently, they infer the social structure of crowd and family.
