虽然兰西格经济区由核心城市、次核心城市、三级城市、重点镇和一般镇组成的五级城镇体系空间结构已具雏形，但就总体而言，城镇化水平低，且地区之间发展不平衡；中心城市的辐射带动作用弱，城乡差距明显；人口和城镇空间分布呈现东密西疏，且城镇体系空间结构不完善。为加快该经济区建设，可行的政策建议为：一是促进人口向特大型都市的集聚；二是把县城作为建制镇发展的重点；三是加快创建区域发展合作平台，促进区域经济社会一体化；四是积极引导和支持县域经济发展，扶持地方龙头企业；五是合理布局工业园区，引导产业集群发展。%The embryonic form of spatial structure of urban system has been basically formed in Lanzhou-Xining-Geermu economic region. It consists of core cities, sub-core cities, third grade cities, key and general towns. However, general y speaking, the urbanization level is low and the economic development level is unbalance among different regions;the leading role of central cities is weak and the urban-rural gap is significant;the spatial distribution of cities and population is“intensive in the East, sparse in the west”and the spatial structure of urban system is imperfect. Several feasible suggestions are given to advance the construction of Lanzhou-Xining-Geermu economic region. It is required to promote the population gathering toward large cities, concentrate on the county town development in organic towns, speed up the cooperation platform construction in regional development to promote the integration in regional economic and social development, actively guide and support the development and growth of the county economy and local leading enterprises, and promote rational distribution of industrial parks to realize industrial clustering development.
