当代中国文化发展中遇到了三个重要问题必须回答：其一是如何看待中华传统文化问题；其二是如何看待西方文化问题；其三是如何构建中国未来的主流文化问题。对待传统文化和西方文化问题，我们需要端正思想态度和认识，需要认识到中华传统文化和西方文化中既存在着合理内核，也有着不合理的成分，需要将它们放到具体的环境中加以科学分析和理性批判。构建未来中国文化需要做到以下四个方面：第一，继续深化和普及文化经典文本的解读工作；第二，文化理论应用要及时；第三，文化对话和交流要增强；第四，理论建设要按照创新的标准来要求。%In cultural development of present China, three important questions must be answered. The First one is how we should regard Chinese traditional culture; The second one is how we should regard western culture; The third one is how we should rebuild future Chinese mainstream culture. As for the two former questions, we should get the right attitude towards these questions and hold in correct recognition that there are not only reasonable elements but also unreasonable factors in both Chinese traditional culture and western culture. We should use reason or understanding to analyze them critically under concrete circumstances. We have to do in four aspects in order to rebuild future Chinese mainstream culture. Firstly, continue deepening and popularizing the interpretation of cultural classic works; Secondly, the application of cultural theories should be in time; Thirdly, cultural dialogues and exchanges should be strengthen; Fourthly, cultural theories rebuilding should be in the original standard.
