As China is the best cooperation partner of Russia under the APEC framework, the future China-Russia economic trade cooperation will seek for the integrating points of cooperation surrounding the “One Belt and One Road” and Eurasian Economic Union. The big power relations, neighboring diplomacy, regional and sub-regional cooperation, hot points and difficult points and many other factors all add complexity and challenges for the cooperation between Russia and APEC.
