This study investigated the forces that motivated and influenced the College of Business Administration faculty at the University of Central Florida to change their undergraduate curriculum. The qualitative study analyzed interview data from thirteen faculty members of the University.;The research and interviews included the historical definition of a business curriculum, the changes made to the curriculum, the defining characteristics of the new curriculum, the internal and external forces that precipitated the curriculum revision, the process used, the state of the curriculum in 1998 and the internal and external forces now acting on the curriculum. Findings annotated a model of curriculum change that conformed to standard research models.;Recommendations were made for studies to regularly benchmark students' abilities in certain skill areas; to survey the local business community and five year alumni; to continue the surveys of new alumni; and, to review the University process used for curriculum change when more than one college is involved.
