Autumn汉译实践报告

摘要

本文为小说Autumn(节选)的汉译实践报告。此次翻译实践选取了英国作家阿莉?史密斯的小说Autumn中的第七到十四章作为翻译文本，该小说具有强烈的实验主义特征，叙事方法独特，被誉为“英国后脱欧时代的杰出作品”。　　本次翻译实践所选翻译文本的各个章节写作手法有很大的差异，风格不一。基于对源语文本的认识，笔者选取了英国著名翻译理论家彼得?纽马克的语义翻译和交际翻译作为主要指导理论。以章节为单位，分析源语文本所属的文本类型。并结合具体语境和表达内容，分析译文应考虑的侧重点及应实现的表达效果，灵活选取翻译方法。　　本报告对翻译任务和翻译过程进行了说明，主要通过案例分析，对实践过程中遇到的困难和解决方法进行了具体阐述。对于形式独特的词句和文学修辞等，笔者主要采取语义翻译方法，从词汇、句法和修辞三个层面着手，尽量再现原文写作特点，保留原文的表达色彩。而对于人物对话，以及结构复杂的长句等，则主要采用交际翻译方法。运用增译、省译、句式调整等翻译技巧，使译文流畅自然，符合汉语表达习惯。　　通过此次翻译实践，笔者希望学习小说翻译特点，积累翻译实践经验，提高自身文学修养和翻译水平。也希望能够在准确译出原文含义的基础上，满足中文读者的阅读审美期待，为国内读者译介优秀的外国文学作品。
