Text Types and Translation Strategies-Based on the C-E Translation of 2010 Government Work Report

摘要

随着改革开放与对外交流的日益频繁，中国在世界政治经济生活中的影响日益扩大。作为全球最大的发展中国家，我们的国家政策势必受到中外人士的密切关注。因此作为国家政治宣传语言文字主要表现形式的《政府工作报告》，其翻译的重要性便不言而喻了。本文以2010年的“政府工作报告”为研究对象，并从中选出了大量的句子作为第一手资料，对它们的译文进行深入研究。不仅回顾了赖斯的文本类型翻译理论，而且还分析了纽马克文本类型说以及语言功能理论，再次提出文本类型的划分及文本功能的确定对于翻译，特别是政治文献翻译的翻译策略和方法上的指导作用。
　　论文首先将探讨文本类型理论的核心理论与思想，以期对政治文献翻译实践提供指导。政府工作报告由总理口头发表，有一定的口语特征；但其语言又是经过精心雕琢的，有一定的书面语体特征，属于一种特殊的文体，因此对政府工作报告的文体特点分析构成了论文的重要部分。另外，为了对政府工作报告能够有一个更充分，更透彻的理解，作者运用了文本类型学理论，对报告的文本类型做了详尽的分析，分别把政府工作报告作为不同类型的文本进行了研究，探论了一些具体的翻译技巧和翻译方法。作为信息型文本，作者建议采用解释性翻译及分译；作为表达型文本，可采用忠实性翻译和直译，也可辅以变化表达形式；作为呼吁型文本，可采用增词、省略和重组的方法。
　　近几年，部分学者对文本类型理论已有所研究，但将文本类型理论应用于政府工作报告的相关研究却少之又少。基于此，本文尝试将文本类型理论应用于政府工作报告的翻译中，旨在探讨文本类型对政府工作报告翻译的影响，以期能为英语翻译提供一些启示。
　　本研究虽然存在一些缺陷和不足，但在翻译实践和理论方面都有一定的意义。在实践方面，为政府工作报告的汉英翻译提出了一系列翻译手法和技巧，为解决政府工作报告汉英翻译中所出现的的错误提供了指导方法；在理论方面，它说明了运用文本类型理论去分析政府工作报告的文本类型以及用交际翻译策略去翻译政府工作报告是可行的。
