A Study of Identity Construction in Conversations of Virtual World

摘要

说话者的语言与说话者的身份是无法分离开来的。说话者语言的行为即说话者身份的行为。人们在用语言彼此交流的过程中总是自觉或不自觉地构建自己的身份。身份的建构这一普遍现象已经成为语用学领域极具研究价值的热点问题。国内外的语言学家们从各种角度开展了很多关于身份构建的研究，并且取得了丰富的研究成果。尽管学者们为身份研究提供了丰富的文献资料，但从顺应论角度研究身份构建的文献并不多。总体而言，对身份的研究主要有两种方法:认知方法和语用方法。本研究的目的在于从顺应论的视角研究身份构建从而整合两种方法。
　　 本文总结了顺应论的主要观点;笔者提出了身份构建的顺应论模型并用虚拟世界收集的语料分析验证了模型的合理性。在此模型中，身份构建是一个动态的选择和顺应过程。根据这个模型我们可以得出这样的结论，所有会话参与者作者都有能力做出可协商的语言选择，与此同时，人们可以在大范围的变量中识别并激发语境相关成分力图达到语言选择和语境相关成分的顺应，这一顺应的目的在于实现身份构建的顺应。从理论上来讲，这项研究不仅丰富了有关身份构建的相关理论，而且深化了关于语言顺应性的相关语用学理论。从实用性来讲，本研究的研究成果为网民如何在虚拟世界构建身份提供了有用的参考。
