翻转课堂教学模式在高职英语阅读教学中的应用研究

摘要

近年来，国家对职业教育的发展越来越重视。高职英语教学作为职业教育体系中重要的基础核心课程，肩负着提高学生英语交际能力、培养学生职业综合素养的重任。英语阅读能力的高低是检验学习者英语语言水平的主要标准之一。虽然阅读在高职英语教学中的地位很重要，但其教学效果却不尽理想。如今，高职英语阅读课存在的问题是其只是被老师当作教授语法句型的途径，侧重语法讲解与句子翻译，并且阅读材料单一，形式枯燥;而学生已习惯在上课中被动听讲，缺少自主学习的能力和信心。作为一种新的课堂教学模式和组织形式，翻转课堂更加强调学生学习兴趣的激发、注重学生自主学习能力和合作学习能力的培养，这有助于解决当下高职英语英语阅读教学所存在的问题。其次，目前翻转课堂在我国高职英语阅读这方面的研究还处于起步阶段，本研究在本领域具有推进意义。笔者在研究大量国内外相关文献的基础上，深入了解翻转课堂的研究现状，结合我国高职英语阅读的教学情况，提出了将翻转课堂教学模式应用到高职英语阅读中以提高学生的阅读水平。
　　本项研究是为了验证翻转课堂是否适合应用于我国高职英语阅读教学，是否比传统课堂更有助于提高学生学习兴趣和自主学习能力，进而提高高职学生的英语阅读水平这一问题。
　　为了验证这些假设，笔者以浙江国际海运职业技术学院港口管理一年级40名学生为教学对象，通过问卷调查和访谈来了解学生英语阅读的水平和学习态度。在这一基础上，笔者将翻转课堂教学应用到高职英语阅读教学中，依据翻转课堂的设计原则，设计了英语阅读翻转课堂的教学流程结构，探索了高职英语阅读翻转课堂教学设计和实施策略。根据翻转课堂的教学设计，笔者在大一年级进行了两轮实验，并在实验过程中不断改进设计，最终验证了翻转课堂在提高高职学生英语阅读水平，优化课堂教学效果，提高学生自主学习能力上有促进作用。
