隐转喻界面研究：以英语“fire”和汉语“火”的隐转喻为例

摘要

本文在隐喻、转喻和隐转喻的理论框架内，探讨英语“fire”和汉语“火”的隐喻与转喻表达并对比彼此的同与异。文中采用的例证主要来源于英语国家语料库（BNC）和北京大学现代汉语语料库（CCL）以及网络。通过大量的例证分析，本文主要揭示隐喻和转喻的界面。经研究，本文主要得出以下三点结论：
　　首先，通过对所收集语料中英语“fire”和汉语“火”的隐喻与转喻表达分析，可以发现英语“fire”的隐喻投射有12个目标域，转喻投射包含4个目标域，而汉语“火”的隐喻投射有14个目标域，转喻投射有5个目标域。从中可以发现，英语“fire”和汉语“火”的隐喻与转喻表达既有共性，又有个性。
　　其次，英语“fire”和汉语“火”的隐喻与转喻表达之间存在一个连续体机制。隐喻和转喻均源自人类的日常生活与经验。隐喻与转喻之间不具二分性，彼此之间形成一个统一的连续体。
　　最后，通过对英语“fire”和汉语“火”的隐喻与转喻表达经分析后，本文发现两者的表达均存在基于转喻的隐喻和隐喻内包含转喻的用法。因认知视角的转变以及认知对象被再次范畴化，隐喻和转喻在相互转化的过程中便会形成一定的界面。
