传播学理论对当代西方翻译研究的启示

摘要

翻译是一种传播活动。在中国翻译理论界，关于传播学如何作用于翻译研究的问题，一直未受到重视。直到吕俊教授提出翻译学是传播学的一个分支学科的设想后，翻译研究学者才陆续关注这一问题。然而，当代西方翻译理论家早已借鉴传播学的理论成果发展了丰富的翻译理论。
　　 本文将分析当代西方翻译研究理论家对传播学理论的借鉴问题，考察有哪些翻译理论家曾借鉴和阐发传播学的理论观点来发展翻译理论，以及这些借鉴和阐发的具体体现。本文将首先讨论传播学的发展历程和重要理论，为翻译理论家的借鉴提供参照，并说明翻译理论家在不同时期的借鉴与传播学在不同阶段的发展特点存在的一致性。在分析翻译理论家对传播学理论的借鉴后，本文作者将试图回答这些理论借鉴的原因。最后，作者对本研究的主要内容和主要成果进行总结，并分析了翻译研究与传播学研究在20世纪80年代后至近期的发展方向，认为两者发展方向相似，为未来的借鉴提供了可能性。
