平行语料库在汉英翻译教学中的应用

摘要

作为辅助工具，语料库在帮助语言教学的应用领域方面，还处于一个萌芽阶段。近几年，随着语料库的潜力不断发挥作用，语料库和索引被广泛地应用于辅助外语教学。将现代科技与翻译教学相结合是一个明智的选择，把语料库应用到翻译教学中不仅能给课堂带来新的活力，而且能弥补传统字典存在的不足，同时，还能为教材编撰和翻译测试提供科学的素材。
　　本文在总结前人以及现有研究的基础上，以数据驱动学习理论和构建主义为依据，将语料库和索引软件应用到翻译教学课堂中，通过实验进行对比研究，找出平行语料库在翻译教学及提高学生翻译水平方面的优势及不足，尝试探究汉英翻译教学的新模式。
　　本文主要包括三大部分:第一部分简单介绍语料库及索引软件，追溯其发展历程及在语言学中的应用，进而根据国内翻译教学的现状来分析基于语料库的翻译教学模式的优势，本文致力于分析平行语料库在汉英翻译教学中的具体应用，并举例介绍一些课堂活动。第二部分是实证研究部分，通过具体应用王克非建立的CEO语料库和卢伟建立的英汉平行语料库来检验语料库能否帮助学生解决在翻译中遇到的实际问题，提高学生的翻译水平。最后一部分则是根据实验得出的数据推导出相关结论:基于语料库的翻译教学模式能够弥补传统翻译教学模式的不足，能够提高学生的翻译水平以及翻译作品质量，同时，通过实验也总结了一些不足和有待改进之处。
