基于语料库的中国英语学习者写作中的过度冗余研究

摘要

语言学习者难免会在学习过程中发生错误。他们的写作中存在各种各样的错误。本文旨在研究中国英语学习者写作中的一种错误，即过度冗余。
　　 过度冗余在学生作文中并不罕见。从试卷作文方面来说，语法以及内容方面的评分几乎占总分的一半，而英语语言中的冗余在这两项评分标准中都占有重要地位。适当的冗余为文章增光添彩，过度冗余则导致拖沓罗唆，影响文章质量。
　　 在分析学生作文中的过度冗余时，我们发现，中国学生缺乏对过度冗余的深刻理解，文章中的中式思维随处可见。然而，大多数此前相关研究主要集中于“英语冗余现象”本身，较少联系错误分析理论对中国学生英语写作中的过度冗余进行调查和探讨。
　　 在错误分析，中介语理论的基础上，本文通过语料库方法，着重研究了过度冗余在不同程度的中国学习者英语写作中的发生情况。本文将过度冗余分为四大类：结构的，语义的，语用的过度冗余和笔误。每种过度冗余都有其成因。本文提出了两个研究问题(1)中国英语学习者写作中的过度冗余呈现怎样的模式；(2)何种因素造成了学生写作中的过度冗余，并回答了这两个问题，以帮助教师在学生的不同学习阶段中决定是否以及何时需要进行干预，减少或避免学生出现此类失误，以期提高写作质量。
