《狼图腾》文化图式英译研究

摘要

《狼图腾》是中国文坛的一朵奇葩。刚出版就被中国文学评论家誉为“一部对中国历史进行独特解读的小说。”该书一出版就引起了读者的广泛关注，其英译本一出版就在海外销售一空。书中浓厚的文化底蕴是该书的看点之一。
　　本文通过运用奈达的文化分类理论和刘明东的文化图式理论，以《狼图腾》及其英译本为例，对书中的文化图式进行分类分析，深入探讨书中文化图式的可译性，分析作者在文化图式翻译过程中所采取的策略方法。
　　《狼图腾》中的文化图式可以分为五类:生态图式，物质图式，社会图式，宗教图式和语言图式。根据刘明东的文化图式翻译理论，文化图式具有可译性，实现文化图式的可译性的方式有三种:A-A原则，A-B原则，A-O原则。本文研究发现，在文化图式翻译过程中，除了以上三种方式，还有两种方式能够实现文化图式的有效传译，即A-C和A-D原则。这五种方式对文化图式翻译尤为重要，它们对文化翻译理论和实践都有一定的启示;为文化翻译理论提供佐证，充实文化翻译理论;也为文化翻译实践提供新思路、新策略、新方法。
