PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of controlling a plane puzzle type storage which can be indiscriminately applied to perform delivery irrespective of the matrix size of a storage area, the position of an entrance/exit, the position of an object pallet to be delivered or the position of a vacant space.;SOLUTION: When the object pallet and the vacant space respectively belong to two different areas divided by a y-axis reference line, an area commonization shifting process (S100) is performed to shift the vacant space onto the y-axis reference line. Further, a vacant space shifting process (S200) for shifting the vacant space to one of blocks adjacent to the object pallet on the side closer to the entrance/exit block, and an object pallet shifting process (S300) for shifting the object pallet to the position of the adjacent vacant space are performed repeatedly according to the position of the object pallet and the relative position of the empty space with respect to the object pallet until the object pallet is shifted to the position of the entrance/exit block.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
