对高职非英语专业学生英语学习策略和学习动机关系的调查研究

摘要

近些年来，随着普通语言学、心理语言学及认知心理学的不断发展，研究者们逐渐将外语教学研究的重点从教师的“教”转移到学生的“学”上来，语言学习者成为语言教与学的重心。有许多因素会影响语言学习者的语言学习，比如性格、性别、年龄、智力、天赋、动机、策略等。许多研究者一直关注语言学习动机和语言学习策略及二者关系的研究，然而，明确指出其关系的研究并不多，尤其是针对在校的高职非英语专业学生的研究更为少见。基于国内外相关的研究成果，作者进行了相应的实证调查研究，以期对高职非英语专业学生英语学习策略及学习动机的现状有更深入、更明确的了解。 作为一门外语，英语的学习在现代职业教育中是非常重要的。近年来，应经济、社会及职业技术的发展需求，我国的高等职业教育迅猛成长壮大。这就要求所培养出的人才应具备熟练掌握英语、满足市场的核心能力需求、娴熟地读懂外国先进的技术资料、学习国外先进的科学技术知识、接受前沿的技能培训等方面的能力。而且，高职学校的学生背景、年龄、受教育目的都有很大差异。这样一来，对这一群体两个重要的个人因素英语学习动机和学习策略的研究就显得很必要了。 在本文中，作者对来自西安电子科技大学高等职业技术学院136名非英语专业学生以问卷调查的方式进行了调查，主要了解想了解其英语学习动机和策略的现状，并进而弄清二者之间的关系。问卷主要涉及到60道与动机和策略相关的问题。作者利用SPSS软件对调查数据进行分析。 本论文总共包括六章。第一章介绍了本文的两个研究原因和研究目的。第二章是文献回顾，主要介绍了国内外语言学习动机和学习策略以及二者关系的研究成果。第三章概述了本文的理论框架，主要阐述了本研究所采用的语言学习策略和学习动机的定义和分类。第四章和第五章是本论文的主体。第四章是研究设计，介绍了研究对象、工具、过程和数据收集。第五章为调查的结果、数据分析及发现，作者利用SPSS对调查结果进行了详细的说明以明了语言学习策略和学习动机二者的关系。第六章是结论部分，作者就研究发现，给高等职业学院教师和学生提出了一些建议。同时，指出了本研究所存在的不足之处并提出了以后的研究建议。
