《啮魂之齿》（节选）陌生化翻译实践报告

摘要

本报告基于作者对马歇尔·布朗所著《啮魂之齿》的翻译实践。翻译形式为英译中。该项目由本文作者和其导师共同完成。整个翻译过程主要分为译前准备、翻译进行和译后校对三个阶段，历时两年半时间。由于本书的篇幅较长，所以该报告选取该书的第一章即序言部分作为该报告的分析样本。
　　《啮魂之齿》是一部关于音乐的文学性评论。该书的第一章节即序言部分，主要围绕“莫扎特效应（聆听莫扎特音乐作品可以提高儿童智商）”背后的抽象主义音乐进行了探索和分析。同时序言部分简单介绍了同时期的哲学、绘画、文学及其他形式的抽象主义作品，意在让读者从这些艺术作品的共通性中去理解抽象主义音乐的主题。基于翻译过程中《啮魂之齿》的语言及文本特点，本报告选取了俄国形式主义文艺理论家维克多·鲍里索维奇·什克洛夫斯基的陌生化翻译理论作为该报告的理论支撑。陌生化技法是指译者通过反常规、反自动化的艺术技巧，使得原本熟悉的作品而变得新奇和陌生的艺术手法。
　　该报告主要由五部分构成:第一部分是对翻译项目背景、内容的简要介绍;第二部分是对整个翻译过程的简要分析。第三部分是对该报告所选用的陌生化理论的介绍;第四部分则结合翻译实践，分别从语音、词汇及句法层面对翻译时采用的陌生化技法进行分析。第五部分则是该报告的结论部分，同时也会简要概括作者的翻译实践心得。
