从格式塔意象角度赏析黄源深《简·爱》译本

摘要

黄源深译本《简·爱》自出版以来广受赞誉，众多学者读译本做评述，对翻译研究产生了积极影响。不过，评论大都是从语言层面展开。虽然再现原著的审美被视为翻译的最高层次，但对黄源深译本《简·爱》的审美再现研究至今仍然很少。论文试从此角度着手，根据姜秋霞提出的格式塔意象在文学翻译中的作用，对比赏析原作和译作，探讨译作审美再现方面的得失，从美学效果评述译作的翻译质量。
　　 本文共分五部分。导言回顾了多种《简·爱》译本和翻译界对黄源深译本的评价以及多角度对小说译作的赏析，指出从审美角度对其进行复评的可能性、必要性及重要性。第一章介绍作者、原著的故事梗概和艺术特色、译者及其翻译原则。第二章介绍格式塔意象及其在文学翻译中的作用，其作用有三点：第一，有效传递审美体验，在准确表达意义的同时，把握原文美学要素，获得对原作场景、人物、事件等相对独立的整体所蕴涵的情感、气氛、语调等的审美体验。第二，它有助于译文结构自然和谐。第三，决定词义选择。第三章结合以上三个功能，从审美体验、结构及逸词三个方面分析译例。首先，分析人物审美再现，从人物情感、性格、语言、动作、心理活动等译例入手，分析其中所含的格式塔特点(情感、气氛、语调等审美体验)及其审美再现的效果。然后，分析场景的审美再现，讨论自然环境及社会环境所表达的场景气氛的准确再现。论文结论部分总结译例的审美效果及其翻译技巧，分析得失的原因。论文从审美视角对黄源深译本《简·爱》进行了重新审视，说明了格式塔意象在文学译本中有助于审美体验的有效表达，强调了文学翻译中以格式塔意象实现有效审美再现的重要性。
