一所黑龙江大学的非英语专业学生跨文化敏感性调查

摘要

当今世界，全球化背景下日新月异，这样的局势迫使人们较之前有了更加频繁的跨文化交流和沟通，因为良好的跨文化交际能力在我们的生活中起着举足轻重的作用，越来越多的这一领域乃至其他领域的学者关注研究这一课题，而且，是否成功的跨文化交际能力在很大程度上取决于是否有较高的跨文化敏感性。
　　因此，为了对非英语专业的学生的跨文化交际能力和跨文化敏感性现状有全面和准确的了解，作者对他们进行了问卷调查。
　　本文的数据来自于一所黑龙江省的大学的非英语专业大二在校大学生，主要提出了三个研究问题:1）非英语专业学生的跨文化交际能力和跨文化敏感度的现状如何？2）非英语专业的学生怎样通过增强跨文化敏感性来提高他们的跨文化交际能力？3）此项研究对于日后的英语教学有哪些启示？
　　本文采用Chen&Starosta设计的跨文化敏感度量表，其有效性已得到验证，本文采用定量和定性相结合的方法进行研究。除此之外，作者有机会到所调查学校实地观察他们上英语课的常态，综和调查表和实地观察得出现在非英语专业大学生的跨文化交际力不强，在面对跨文化交流时跨文化敏感性较弱，在英语课堂上跨文化敏感性的培养几乎被忽略，跨文化交际能力的的锻炼在课堂中有设置，但并有良好的实践。虽然学生乐于参与跨文化交流，但普遍缺乏自信，不愿主动交流。
　　同时，就调查出现的问题和资料综合分析，对于英语教学中跨文化方面的教学中老师和学生分别提出一些建议。
