情景教学法在中职酒店英语教学中的应用研究

摘要

全球化进程和中国经济的发展，为酒店行业注入了巨大的推动力，这对酒店从业人员的英语水平提出了更高的要求。然而，与此不对应的是，作为培养酒店从业人才的中职学校，酒店英语的教学大多数仍然在使用着传统模式，教师多数偏向于语法分析和词汇灌输，教学手段单一，方法老旧，不能提高学生的学习兴趣;而学生在面对这样的教学模式，耐心和信心大受影响，更不能获得有效的教学反馈，最后导致培养出来的学生无法满足酒店行业对专业人才的需要。因此，研究中职酒店英语的教学方法具有重要的现实意义。
　　情景教学法早已被应用到在英语教学中，它强调教师有目的地创造和设计可感官的场景，以期引起学生的体验和共鸣，从而加深学生对知识的理解和掌握。虽然国内外许多专家学者对该教学方法已经进行了大量的理论研究和应用，但在酒店英语教学领域的应用和研究却相对较少。
　　本研究以建构主义理论、语言输入理论，心理学理论为主要理论依据，旨在研究运用情景教学法来创设教学环境，在课堂上有效地实施酒店英语的输入，并通过实验来回答以下几个问题:1）英语情景教学法对中职酒店英语的输出有什么影响？2）情景教学法对培养中职生学习酒店英语的兴趣和动机有什么意义？3）酒店英语情景教学中如何设置情景？哪些情景的设置方式是最受学生欢迎和有效的？
　　本文选取了海南省高级技工学校2014级旅游酒店班的两个班作为实验对象，进行了为期四个月的实验。实验将两个班级划分为实验班和控制班，在实验班使用情景教学法教学;控制班则继续采用传统教学法授课。在实验开始前和实验结束时，对两班学生分别进行成绩测试和相应的调查问卷，并用统计软件SPPS19.0对测试数据进行定量和定性分析。
　　实验结果表明:1）在酒店英语教学环节中设置情景有效地提高了学生的专业英语水平。2）情景教学法有利于提高学生的学习兴趣，激发学习动机。3）教师根据教学内容和教学环节创建相应的情景。实际工作场景模拟和情景剧表演等教学活动最受学生欢迎和效果最佳。
　　此次研究表明，情景教学法能够有效促进中职生学习酒店英语的能力，提高学习英语的兴趣，也能增进师生情感。与此同时，仍然需要开展进一步的研究，通过研究统计更多的数据，以此来确认、丰富和发展情景教学法。
