中英单人脱口秀的幽默策略对比研究

摘要

从社会学到心理学，哲学到语言学，幽默长期以来受到各个不同领域学者的欢迎。作为一种世界共有的语言现象和受人欢迎的交际形式，幽默在人际交流中起着重要的作用。
　　随着不同国家之间越来越频繁跨文化交际，单人脱口秀从西方国家传入中国。作为一种喜剧形式，单人脱口秀深受男女老少的喜爱。然而，虽然越来越多的人擅长使用一门外语，但对不同文化幽默的理解和欣赏仍然存在许多障碍。这种障碍很大程度上是由于不同国家所使用的不同幽默策略导致的。
　　通过对比英汉两种语言的单人脱口秀，本文试图找出两种不同文化在使用幽默策略上的异同。
　　幽默策略的相同点分为宏观策略和微观策略两方面。宏观策略是指通过违反交际原则实现的幽默。根据Grice(1989)的理论，幽默是违背会话准则的，即量的准则、质的准则、相关准则和方式准则。因此幽默语言学家有一共识:幽默至少会违背合作原则的四条准则中的一条。换句话说，对合作原则的违反可以视为一种幽默策略。
　　微观策略指语言层面上的幽默策略。英文和中文的脱口秀都包括通过文字游戏实现的幽默，即利用语言的内部特征达到幽默效果。这种语言策略包括语音、词汇、句法和语义等方面。
　　英汉脱口秀幽默策略的不同点主要在于非语言层面。这些差异体现在话题的选择、玩笑对象和表达方式等方面，而这些策略上的差异是由不同的社会结构、文化价值观和世界观造成的。
　　对英汉脱口秀幽默策略的分析表明，导致幽默理解障碍的主要因素是社会和文化的差异，而并非外语的语言能力。政治环境、社会结构、社会准则和习俗、价值体系以及信仰都会造成幽默策略使用上的差异和理解方式的不同。
