《一座我自己的房子——我一生中的故事》翻译实践报告

摘要

《一所我自己的房子—我一生中的故事》是美国当代具有影响力的西语裔女作家桑德拉·希斯内罗丝的作品，极具奇卡纳文学作品特征:小说展现了现代主义的叙事手法，复调叙述、“碎片式”叙述、虚构性自传和鲜明的书信体特征。
　　本次的翻译报告基于小说《一所我自己的房子—我一生中的故事》节译部分的英译汉翻译实践角度，从语言和文化两个层面出发，采用异化与归化相结合的翻译策略，力求译文能够充分再现原作风貌，有效传达原作意图，保留原作异域文化。
　　在语言层面，译者具体从词汇、句法、修辞三方面对原文进行深刻分析和全面理解。在词汇方面，译者通过词汇变换以及合理选词的翻译技巧。在句法方面，译者进行了语态转换以及语序调整的翻译策略，对译文句式做出相应调整，使译文的语言通顺流畅。有效传达作者的意图与内涵。在修辞方面，译者对原文中的双关和排比写作手法进行了详尽分析。语言层面的翻译，译者主体广泛运用了归化翻译策略，以使译文准确地传达作者的思想，同时也使译文传递原文的语言风格和特色，符合目的语读者的阅读习惯。
　　另外，在文化层面译者大量运用了异化翻译策略，从墨西哥外来词语、典故、食物名称以及联想的翻译入手，透彻理解原文，通过直译或加注的方式追求译文再现原作者的创作特征、最大限度地保留异域文化色彩。在本次翻译实践中，译者结合异化与归化，两者相辅相成，力图译文输出达到最佳效果。
