基于语境理论的三维语法在高中语法教学中的应用

摘要

语法教学在英语教学中一直占据比较重要的位置，如何进行语法教学也一直是备受争议的话题。众所周知语法教学的最终目的是培养学生的语言交际能力，使学生在日常生活中有需要时能灵活地运用英语进行交流。Larsen Freeman(2003)提出语法应包含三个方面:形式、意义和运用，这三个方面相辅相成，不可分割。现在很多高中英语老师尝试使用这种方法进行语法教学，教学效果确实有所改观。但是，学生的学习效率仍然较低，对于语法理解和语言运用仍然存在不足之处。基于语境的三维语法教学能够改善学生在传统语法课堂中对语法规则死记硬背的方式，通过呈现相应的语境帮助学生感知、理解语法的形式和意义，能够准确生动地将语法运用于真实的语境中，使学生真正的将三个维度结合起来，在语境中整体把握语法，最终做到在语境中熟练运用，从而提高学生的语言运用能力。所以本研究试图将语境理论与三维语法进行结合，通过教学实验研究这种语法教学方法的效果。本研究的研究问题有三个:
　　1)基于语境理论的三维语法教学的效果如何？
　　2)基于语境理论的三维语法教学对语法的哪个维度影响最大（形式、意义、运用）?
　　3)高中学生对基于语境理论的三维语法教学的态度如何？
　　本研究以南京市某高中的两个高一班级的学生为研究对象，一个为实验班，运用基于语境的三维语法进行语法教学，另一个为对照班，运用普通的三维语法方法进行教学。两个班级一共87名学生，通过前测的结果证明两个班级的语法水平基本相等（以定语从句为例进行测试）。教学实验持续三个月。实验结束后对两个班级进行后测，以判断基于语境的三维语法的教学效果，并对实验班的学生进行调查问卷，调查学生对于这种方法的态度。通过对测试和问卷的数据进行处理和分析，得出以下结论:
　　1)基于语境理论的语法教学能够帮助学生更好的掌握和学习语法，提高课堂教学效率和学习效率。
　　2)基于语境的三维语法教学方法尤其对于学生理解语法意义和实际运用语法具有促进的作用。
　　3)学生对于基于语境的语法教学持肯定态度，语境能够激发学生的学习兴趣，使学生更好地理解语法意义。
