语境理论在高中英语语法教学中的应用研究

摘要

从外语教学诞生之日起，语法教学就饱受争议。目前，最大的问题是中学教师找不到合适的方法来进行语法教学。结果导致很多学生不能用准确的英语交流，语法意识薄弱，语法的准确性较差。学生在作文中存在许多语法错误，在阅读理解和日常交流中也由于缺乏语法知识造成困难。
　　即便部分教师意识到语法教学的重要性，但是对如何有效的教授语法存在困惑。他们只会在课上呈献给学生大量的语法规则。学生需要不断地记笔记，背规则，结果导致对语法课所学内容的逐渐厌恶。更糟糕的是学生仍然无法在交流中正确地使用语法。
　　为了改变这种状况，就必须要改变传统语法教学的方式，探索在语境中进行语法教学的方法。这样才能培养学生在交际中恰当准确地表达自我的能力。本篇论文寻找在语境中教授英语语法的方法和技巧。研究问题为:使用语境教授语法知识是否可以促进学生的语法学习兴趣，提高学生运用语法的准确性。
　　研究以天津市第四十二中学高一年级两个班105名学生为受试对象，一个班为实验班，另一班为对照班。研究以被动语态、情态动词should(not)have done，might have done等的用法为教学内容，针对不同受试设计不同教学方法，探讨利用语境理论对语法进行传授的方法和技巧。为期三个月，实验结果通过问卷和考试的形式进行验证，得出如下结论利用语境教授语法知识可以提高学生的语法学习兴趣，帮助学生更准确地运用语法，得到优于非语境方法的教学效果。
