新课标下农村初中英语词汇教学的现状调查与对策

摘要

词汇是语言中极其重要的一个因素。而词汇教学作为贯穿于整个英语教学过程中的教学活动，在英语教学中占有非常重要的地位。因此国内外许多学者都对词汇教学进行了多方面、多角度的研究。而随着新的中学英语课程标准的颁布和实施，初中英语词汇教学有了新的要求和目标。教师不仅要扩大学生的词汇量，更要使学生能够在真实的语境中正确地运用词汇，这就对初中英语词汇教学提出了新的挑战。为了更好的推行新课程标准，促进初中英语词汇教学质量的提高，尤其是农村地区英语教育的发展，有必要对农村地区初中英语词汇教学的现状进行调查。因此，作者对山东省潍坊市农村地区的三所初中进行了调查，以期发现目前农村初中英语词汇教学中存在的问题，并对以后的初中词汇教学有所启示。本文采用定量研究，通过调查20名初中教师的词汇教学现状和150名初一学生对词汇教学反馈和词汇水平，分析所得数据，本研究得出的结论有:
　　 1.绝大多数教师和初中生意识到了词汇教学的重要性，也认可了词汇教学的重点是词汇的实际运用，尽管仍有少数人的教学观念没有与新课标的理念相一致。
　　 2.由于新课标对词汇教学提出了更高的要求，教师在词汇教学方法、教学策略及教师自身发展方面面临着重大挑战。教师必须不断改进词汇教学的的方法。但是，由于教师的教与学生的学习需求之间存在隔阂，教师必须在改进自身词汇教学的同时注重通过学生对词汇教学的反馈来提高词汇教学质量。
　　 3.农村地区初中英语词汇教学效率低。教师所用词汇教学方法的效果不好和学生的词汇学习兴趣欠缺，是造成词汇教学效率低的主要原因。
　　 根据调查所得的结果，作者提出了几条教学建议。首先，要树立正确的词汇教学观念;其次，要改进教学方法，提高教学质量;再次，要教授学生一定的词汇知识和词汇学习策略;最后，要做好课堂词汇教学的反思。
