摘要

为适应我国改革开放和社会主义现代化建设事业发展的需要,促进中外交流,培养高层次、应用型高级翻译专门人才,中国决定在2007年设置翻译硕士专业学位。以培养具有较强的语言运用能力、熟练的翻译技能和宽广的知识面的翻译家,能够胜任不同专业领域所需的高级翻译工作。
  同年12月,国务院学位办下发了《翻译硕士专业学位研究生指导性培养方案》(学位办(2007)78号),较为全面地说明了翻译硕士的培养目标、招生对象及入学考试办法、学习年限、培养方式、课程设置、学位论文和组织与实施等方面的问题,该培养方案在诸多培养环节上做了强制性的要求。在整个培养方案中,课程设置是整个课程系统中联系课程计划与课程实施的重要纽带。课程设置也是各学校灵活性最大,最能凸显学校特色的一个环节了。翻译硕士专业学位的设立,到今年为止已经走过了10个年头。各个设立翻译硕士学位的学校在“摸着石头过河”中探索着翻译硕士的教学。许多专家学者也投身翻译硕士课程设置的研究中。
  在多年的研究中,许多专家学者已经指出了许多问题并且提出了相应的建议。那么这些建议是否被一些学校所吸取呢?本文以内陆省份四川为研究对象,以穆雷提出的翻译硕士专业学位课程设置的6个要求为标准,将四川九所高校MTI的课程进行了对比。通过问卷调查,访谈及统计分析等方法全面梳理了四川九所高校的课程的现状,存在的问题与优缺点,并且提出了一些建议。旨在为MTI的教育发展提供一点可用参考。
