中英农学类期刊摘要的主位结构与主位推进模式对比研究

摘要

主位理论与主位推进模式能够帮助作者组织语篇信息，实现语言的元功能。但是以前对主位和主位推进模式对比分析的范例基本上都是对英汉科技语篇统一的分析，而对于专门学科语篇的对比分析还需要进一步的研究，另外也鲜少有对不同影响因子的期刊的主位结构与主位推进模式对比研究。在这种认识的基础上，本文利用主位理论和主位推进模式对英汉农学类期刊摘要进行分析，旨在探索英汉农学类期刊摘要语篇在主位选择以及主位推进模式方面的异同，找出二者在语篇建构模式上的规律，促进科技论文摘要的写作与翻译。
　　本研究试图解决以下问题:
　　第一，英汉农学类期刊摘要在主位选择上有哪些相同点和不同点？
　　第二，英汉农学类期刊摘要在主位推进模式上有哪些相同点和不同点？
　　第三，影响因子高的汉语农学类期刊摘要和影响因子低的汉语农学类期刊摘要在主位选择和主位推进模式上有哪些相同点和不同点？
　　第四，影响因子高的英语农学类期刊摘要和影响因子低的英语农学类期刊摘要在主位选择和主位推进模式上有哪些相同点和不同点？
　　本研究分别选取了66篇CNKI收录的汉语农学类核心期刊论文摘要和57篇Springer-Link的英语农学期刊论文摘要组成语料库，结合定量和定性的研究方法对所选语料进行了对比分析。结果表明:(1)英汉农学类期刊摘要中单项主位占据绝大多数比例，少量的复项主位以篇章主位为主，英汉摘要中大多使用非标记性主位，但英语摘要中复项主位的比例比汉语摘要大，且汉语存在零主位现象。(2)汉语农学类摘要中四种基本主位推进模式的使用频率从大到小排列依次为:述位同一型、交叉型、主位同一型、延续型，而英语摘要的使用频率从大到小排列依次为:主位同一型、延续型、述位同一型、交叉型。(3)汉语摘要中，影响因子高的期刊使用较多的无标记主位，其延续型模式使用频率较低，交叉型模式则相反:(4)英语摘要中，影响因子高的期刊使用较多的复项主位，其述位同一型模式所占的比例较大。
　　本研究的发现对科技期刊论文摘要写作和翻译具有指导意义。在运用英汉两种语言撰写或翻译摘要时，作者既要充分考虑到摘要这一特定体裁的特点，还应努力增强自身的语言文化差异意识，从而进一步提升自己科技论文摘要的写作和翻译水平。
