摘要

计算机辅助语言教学(Computer Assisted Language Learning简称CALL)是外语教学发展的新趋势.CALL注重引导学生借助计算机来学习语言,通过教学内容、教学过程和计算机辅助的有机结合,求得最佳学习效果.目前,CALL的研究和实践在国际上受到普遍重视.相对国外,中国对计算机辅助语言教学实际应用的研究还较滞后,尤其是在阅读教学中的应用,对其深入研究,对于提高课堂教学效率,全面提高学生的素质,更好地推进素质教育,提高英语教师应用教学资源的能力等都具有十分重要的意义.该文归纳总结了对CALL的研究和应用,分析了目前高中英语阅读教学的现状和影响学生阅读的障碍,进一步阐明计算机辅助英语阅读教学的优势、理论基础和可行性,结合教学实例说明如何运用多媒体和因特网来辅助英语阅读教学,提高课堂教学效率.最后,提出在应用中应处理好的几个关系.
