概念隐喻的语篇连贯功能分析

摘要

Lakoff的概念隐喻理论突破了传统隐喻研究的范畴，提出隐喻是人类思考和认知的方式，从而将隐喻研究引入认知领域。概念隐喻的研究主要集中在词汇、短语和句子层面。随着研究的深入，有不少学者从语篇层面入手研究概念隐喻，发现概念隐喻具有语篇连贯功能。语篇是个具有概念和语言形式的实体。这些学者对概念隐喻语篇功能的研究多从语篇的一个层面着手。笔者认为这样的研究多带有片面性，不能很好地说明概念隐喻的语篇功能，因此需要双管齐下，才能更好地回答以下两个问题：概念隐喻在实体化为语篇时，是什么工作机制在制约着语篇的连贯；在语篇的语言形式层面上，概念隐喻工作机制在哪些方面影响了语篇的连贯。 在前人研究的基础上，本文进一步探讨概念隐喻的语篇连贯功能。本文将语篇分析的认知连贯理论与概念隐喻理论相结合，对由概念隐喻实现的不同类型语篇进行分析。通过语篇分析，本文得出的结论：概念隐喻以其跨域映射的工作机制将语篇的信息纳入其统辖范围内，构建了语篇结构。概念隐喻的连贯性和系统性使语篇在概念和语篇两个层次上具有连贯性；语篇的衔接手段主要通过概念隐喻的隐喻表达式，特别是词汇衔接来实现，隐喻表达式的隐喻意突显了语篇的中心思想。
