关于同声传译过程中预测的心理语言学分析

摘要

本文回顾了翻译界对同声传译中的预测的研究成果，试从生理学、认知心理学、特别是心理语言学的角度，在借鉴限向理论、交股模型、心理模型等相关理论的同时，对同传中的预测进行了分析，进而提出以下相关假设： 第一，同传中的预测是一种自发的思想活动，而非人为控制、计划的策略。 第二，预测主要受非语言知识的制约。 第三，预测的准确率或近似率取决于译员能否快速、准确地找到激活要素。 在讨论相关理论的基础上，本文作者尝试性地分析了首届中外大学校长论坛的同传录音，结果验证了以上假设的正确性。 本文最后指出，在培训学生的预测能力以及强化训练的过程中，应由以词和句式为主转向以丰富认知资源为主的策略，只有这样才能使学生提高预测能力，最终为提高学生的翻译水平奠定坚实的基础。
