A Simulation Analysis of a Reengineering Problem for a Small Business

In this project, we perform a reengineering for a small business. The project included research into the process operation of the business, data collecting, data analysis, and model development and simulation analysis. In particular, we were concerned with reorganizing the input process and output process of this firm. The firm is a multifaceted printing business, which unfortunately has a few large clients and needs to alter its input handling to attract a more diverse clientele. The model developed was implemented with the Arena software and validated against historical data. We developed several alternatives of which one has been physically implemented with excellent results.
