The balancing of machines with spatial mechanisms during a computer design process is aimed at creating such a construction which would not only be economically or sizably optimal, but have a proper dynamic state as well. Therefore, the design method proposed makes it possible to balance the optimal vector of inertial forces which affect different parts of the mechanism. The basis for such balancing are balancing conditions in the form of matrix equations of the static moments applied during the design process. A computer program WMWC ver. 2 is used to check the balancing of the already-designed parts of the mechanism. If the desired conditions are not fulfilled, all the calculations must be repeated and the iteration method is used. The solution to the problem of optimal construction changes of the spatial machine parts during a computer design process requires the use of an objective function. The optimal direct objective function is the design area. Changes in the construction being designed are made each time the balancing conditions are checked.
