In this paper, the algorithm of reducing seismic response control for cable-stayed bridges, which is slidingmode control based on mode analysis, is put forward. The method is used for reducing seismic responsecontrol of cable-stayed bridge, and it is shown that the methods are feasible and effective by the study ofsimulating control for long-span bridge, and the sliding mode control based on mode analysis achievedideal control result by comparatively less external energy.
