Measuring complex permittivity and permeability with partiallyfilled waveguide

A partially filled waveguide is used to measure complexnpermittivity and permeability simultaneously at microwave in this paper.nA waveguide partially filled with material under test is measured by annautomatic network analyser. The “mode match” method is usednto analyse the higher order mode in the waveguide. Both theoretical andnexperimental aspects are discussed in detail. Experimental results agreenwell with the theoretical results
